Dr. Christine served as country Director of the World Bank in Bangladesh and also served as Director of the Independent Evaluation group for Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) of the World Bank. She joined the World Bank in 1977 as a young professional.
She studied in the US, Germany and at Cambridge University in the UK. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and attended the ‘Advanced Management Program” at Harvard Business School. She is now Interim Trustee-in-Residence of the American Academy in Berlin.
