The ZNRF University of Management Sciences (ZUMS) Library is one of the modern libraries in Bangladesh in terms of up to date technology, comprehensive collections, variety of services, professionally skilled manpower, etc. In addition to a conventional library, ZUMS has made arrangement for a fully Computerized Digital Library with access to the latest collection of e-books and international journals. It is an integral part of the university and designed to meet the information, research, and curriculum needs of its students, faculty and staff members.
The library consists of a wide room with sufficient space on the top floor of the main building. There the readers have a silent and adequate space for study of their own. It can accommodate adequate number of students at a time in its well-furbished reading room.
ZUMS Library has also turned to Open Shelve System (OSS) where the readers now can browse books and journals directly from the shelves, can see other relevant materials at a time. Library workers are also there to help the readers. The library will be linked with the Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BD.REN) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) soon.
The vision of the library is to develop a fully Computerized Digital Library with access to the latest collection of e-books and international journals that will facilitate quality teaching, learning and research in the university community by providing wide-ranging scholarly resources, facilities, and services to faculty members, staff, and students in the discovery, use, creation, and management of information.
To provide comprehensive resources and services to support the university community for developing skills in innovative and analytical thinking in research and development and in information literacy.
