Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
  • Establish various SOP of procurement for Bangladesh business unit in line with group procurement policy.

  • Identify risks across the supply chain and develop strategy and take action to minimize the risk factors.

  • Ensure LC, documentation and other commercial activities for imported material of the power plant
  • Negotiate terms & conditions, prepare contract paper with local and foreign supplier or service provider, follow up contract terms and ensure contract implementation.
  • Supplier development, vendor enlistment, relationship management and performance measurement.
  • Coordinate with other functional areas, such as project, finance and internal audit.
  • Submit various reporting time to time to the management in respect to procurement, departmental progress & activities to Singapore group office & Bangladesh.
